Buzz Cut is proudly 100% Kiwi owned and operated, and as an independent business, not tied to a large franchise, we’re able to keep our prices competitive while still carrying out high quality work throughout our local community in West Auckland. We take pride in our customer satisfaction and reliability, and with every lawn being unique, we tailor our services to our customer needs.

Preparing for our visit.

If you’re expecting a visit from us, please remember to leave gates unlocked and dogs somewhere safe. If we’re visiting your property to carry out work, please also remember to pick up toys, pet waste, and any other items that may pose a hazard or get damaged by our mowers.

How do I arrange a quote?:

To arrange your free quote, you can either fill out the “Contact” form on our website, email us at mow@buzzcut.co.nz, or call/text us on 021 090 14949. (Please include what kind of service you are enquiring about.)

How much does it cost?

We understand price is the biggest factor when choosing a lawn mowing & garden maintenance provider, all properties are different, so we’re unable to give prices without seeing the property and assessing your needs. You can “Contact Us” to arrange a free individualized quote, so you’ll know exactly how much you’re paying before work commences.

What should I do if I need to cancel or reschedule a service?

If you’d like to cancel or need to reschedule your service, please contact us by phone or email with at least 24hrs notice. In the event you’re unable to give us 24hrs notice, contact must be made by phone.

How often will you mow my lawn?

Our standard schedule for lawn mowing is every 2 weeks during Spring and Summer when it’s warm, and every 3/4 weeks during Winter when it’s wet and cold.

What happens if it’s raining?

Most of the time we still operate through light showers, however this may slow us down and we might not be able to mow all of our scheduled properties for the day. If there is heavy rain for an extended period and there is sitting water, or the ground is too soggy from residual moisture, we may have to reschedule jobs. If we’re unable to service your property due to weather delays, we’ll do our best to get in touch and let you know.

Does someone need to be home for your visit?

The team at Buzz Cut are happy to complete your quote or service your property while you’re at work or out and about, we’ll have your garden looking sharp for when you return home.

Can you mow my lawn if I have pets or children playing outside?

For everyone’s safety, please keep pets and children indoors or in a safe area while we are operating our equipment and power tools.

How often should I get my hedge trimmed?

Regular hedge trimming is vital for healthy, good-looking hedges. Hedge trimming frequency can depend on several factors, including the type of hedge, its growth rate, and your desired appearance. Typically, hedges are trimmed 2-3 times per year to maintain shape and size.
